Dr. Saxon graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. After completion of his dental training, Dr. Saxon completed his specialty training in Periodontics, and earned a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. Dr. Saxon is a Board-Certified Periodontist with the American Board of Periodontology.Dr. Saxon’s awards and honors include being the Champion of the John F. Prichard Graduate Research Competition for his research on novel bone grafting techniques, and he has published research in international journals. In addition to his duties as a full time private practitioner, Dr. Saxon runs a study club and has lectured on topics in periodontics throughout the United States.
