Course Description
Bone loss is a common side effect of periodontal disease, trauma, overzealous extractions, or fractured teeth. Bone grafting can be a very predictable way to prepare a site for implant placement. Knowing which sites to graft and the materials available can aid in successful outcomes for our patients. This course will give an overview of the bone grafting materials and review keys to successful bone grafting. It will discuss extraction site defects and which ones are conducive to good patient outcomes.
